Yazzie Greenberg Construction, A Joint Venture is Launched

In March, 2010, M. Greenberg Construction launched a new joint venture partnership with John T.Yazzie to form Yazzie Greenberg Construction, a Joint Venture. This exciting new partnership allows the company to compete for Native American preference projects that are in development.

Yazzie Greenberg will continue the long tradition that M. Greenberg began of serving the Southwest's remote Indian Nations. We strive to keep precious construction dollars local and try to utilize as many qualified Native American subcontractors and suppliers as possible.

Yazzie Greenberg Awarded Navajo Transit System's New Bus Center Project

Yazzie Greenberg Construction is very proud to announce its selection as Design/Build Team Leader and Construction Manager on the Navajo Tranisit Bus Maintenance and Administration Center in Ft. Defiance. This June, 2010 award was a total team effort in partnership with design veterans SPS+ Architects and the respected engineering professionals at Gannett Fleming Inc. Yazzie Greenberg thanks them for their hard work.

This project is the longtime dream of Navajo Transit and will help the Nation to better serve its citizens with an efficient and centrally located bus terminal. It will also serve as a hub for the ever growing Navajo Nation and Indian Country sightseeing and tour bus industry. M. Greenberg Selected as CM@Risk Contractor for Canyon Day Housing in Whiteriver

M. Greenberg was recently awarded the Canyon Day Housing project in Whiteriver, Arizona. This CM@Risk project will be the 12th official project that Greenberg has provided to the Whiteriver area. Over the years Greenberg has successfully constructed over 225 homes in Whiteriver.

In addition, M. Greenberg Construction recently delivered the beautiful and highly functional District Transportation Center. This project was the third in a three phase project that provides the Whiteriver District with an administration and operations complex.

Yazzie Greenberg Awarded Navajo Housing Authority's Karigan Estates Project

Yazzie Greenberg Construction was recently selected as Design/Build Team Leader and Construction Manager for the Karigan Estates Townhomes project in St. Michaels, Arizona (Window Rock). This was the first official project awarded to Yazzie Greenberg.

Yazzie Greenberg teamed with the talented professionals at Woolsey Studio, who concieved a unique design that incorporated traditional Navajo designs and motifs into a functional concept. Also on the team is the veteran engineering firm, Coe & Van Loo, who will provide the extensive civil engineering for the project. M. Greenberg and Yazzie Greenberg Attend the Construction in Indian Country Conference

The recent Construction in Indian Country Conference held on May 18th and 19th at Ft. Mcdowell Casino was a chance for our firm to introduce our new joint venture, Yazzie Greenberg to the many tribes in attendance. We were able to proudly display our recent completed projects for several of Arizona's Native American tribes in addition to keeping tabs on what's going on with construction development around the State
